Resistance fights on as Israel stalls on peace plan

Defenceless Palestinian civilians are desperately seeking cover as waves of Israeli missiles pound what’s left of the battered Palestinian enclave. The bogus American “bridging proposal” that was supposedly going to lead to a prisoner exchange and end the fighting in the Gaza Strip has collapsed. Israel’s opposition leader Yair Lapid calls on Prime Minister Netanyahu to reach a deal to bring home the remaining Israeli prisoners held in Gaza, amid persistent reports in the Israeli media that Netanyahu is working to scuttle those efforts.

This union represents not just the archetypal Sir Humphrey role models but covers policy advisors, diplomats, lawyers, tax professionals, economists, statisticians and museum curators in over 200 departments beyond Whitehall. It has lots of members in the Crown Prosecution Service and the Crown Office and Prosecutor Fiscal Service, and it has forged a partnership with Unison, for health and care managers.
